This double winter duvet is made with premium-quality, soft, pure cotton cover fabric and carefully selected Hungarian goose down and goose feather filling. It offers the highest warmth level in the range, making it especially suitable for the colder winter months.
The "PEHELY és ÁLOM" brand pays close attention to every step of the washing and sterilisation cycle of the feathers and down to ensure that the duvets and pillows are as clean and hygienic as possible.
Filling and structure
This duvet contains 30% down and 70% medium goose feather, evenly distributed in stitched box chambers. This cassette construction helps keep the filling in place, providing consistent warmth across the entire surface.
Thanks to the box-wall (baffle box) construction – not sewn through from top to bottom, but with internal walls between the upper and lower fabric layers – the formation of cold spots is significantly reduced. This design enhances overall sleeping comfort by maintaining a more even temperature.
During preparation of the filling, the larger, sharper feather parts are removed. The remaining medium and smaller goose feathers are combined with the down, resulting in a filling that feels warm and substantial, yet still retains a traditional feather-duvet character.
